B-4474 (Wound Infections)

The active ingredient of B-4474 is a harmless, recombinant bacterium that is able to conjugate with and kill Gram negative bacteria. To ensure safety, the bacterium is engineered to not survive. It survives only long enough to be applied to the wound and to kill the pathogenic bacteria.

ConjuGon has extensive in vitro and in vivo data demonstrating the ability of this recombinant bacterium to kill all Gram negative pathogens including strains that are pan-resistant.
